Andover Lions Club

The Lions

We meet the needs of our local communities and the world.

Our 1.3 million men and women in 201 countries and geographic areas conduct vision and health screenings, build parks, support eye hospitals, award scholarships, assist youth, provide help in time of disaster and much more.

Beginning in 1917, the Association of Lions Clubs has provided millions of people with the opportunity to give something back to their communities. Join us in making our communities and the world better places to live.

The Andover Lions

The Andover Lions began serving the community in 1971. The Andover Lions are involved in many community service projects. Some of these include eye screening, Toys for Tots, college scholarship awards, health screening, and assistance for glasses and hearing aids. For a listing and description of these services, go to the Services page.

To fund the community services and to help with programs of the International Association of Lions Clubs, a number of fundraisers are a vital part of the Lions' activities. One of the main fundraisers for the Lions is the Maple Festival, which takes place in the spring at the Andover Central School. Another popular fundraiser is the Tent, Chair, and Table Rental Service. Other fundraisers conducted in Andover are the 400 Club, July 4th Beef on Weck Sale, Journey for Sight, and a Basketball Tournament. For a listing and description of these fundraising events, go to the Fundraisers page.

The Andover Lions are grateful to the community for their continuing support in their fundraising efforts.
